Privacy

We understand the importance of protecting personal information and are committed to collecting, using and disclosing your information responsibly. We also attempt to be as open and transparent as possible about the way in which we handle personal information.

The collection, use and disclosure of personal information is governed by the Personal Information Protection Act (“PIPA” or the “Act”) which came into force on January 1, 2004.

PIPA regulates the collection, use and disclosure of personal information by organizations. The term personal information is defined broadly in the law as information about an identifiable individual but does not include contact information (the persons name, position name, business telephone number, business address, business email address or business fax number).

PIPA attempts to balance the right of individuals to protect their personal information and the need of the company to collect, use and disclose information for purposes that a reasonable person would consider appropriate. Victoria Stage Inc. has developed this policy in compliance with the Act and its guiding principle in implementing this policy is the company will consider what a reasonable person would consider appropriate in the circumstances when deciding how to meet its obligations under the Act.
